Do you want to know how to last longer in bed?
If you’re like most men, you always want to last that extra minute. Even a few seconds can mean the difference between making your partner scream in pleasure, or sit in bed unsatisfied.
There is no denying the fact that every man has wondered if he was able to last long enough for his partner.
And no one is going to say, “you didn’t last long enough.” If a person does say this to you, it’s time to start rethinking the relationship – don’t you think? But men have a way of knowing that they don’t last long enough. No one needs to tell you that you’re a two-minute man that leaves their partner wanting more.
If you’re asking yourself, “how can I last longer?” you’ll know the answer shortly.
How Long Should Sex Last?
There’s a chance that you do last long enough. Your partner may take an abnormally long time to orgasm, and you may not be responsible for his or her shortcomings.
A few polls have been done on how long sex should last, and the answer may surprise you.
- Too Short: When is sex too short? If sex lasts 1 – 2 minutes, you need to step up your game. This is when you need to be worried about lasting longer in bed.
- Adequate: If you fall within the 3 – 7-minute range, this is considered adequate. You could last longer, but the majority of men will fall within this zone.
- Perfect Length: Women state that the perfect length of time for sex is between 7 and 13 minutes.
And if you’re wondering how long is too long, you’ll be happy to know that 30 minutes or more is too long for most people. Not only will you be a big pile of sweat, but women tend to get very, very sore at this point.
She or he may even start to swell at this point, so it’s not ideal in most cases.
You want to aim for the “perfect” length, but you definitely want to be within the adequate range if you want to ensure that she or he is pleased.
Correct Insecurity Issues and Boost Confidence

Psychological issues are the main reason for a short sex session. Confidence also falls within this classification. The truth is that far too many men and women like to act confident and secure, but when the clothes come off, they buckle under pressure.
If you’ve ever been turned on beyond belief but have had a hard time getting it up, you know exactly what I mean.
Anyone that is worried about how long they last will be insecure. You can’t jump into bed with the fear that you won’t last long enough and expect everything to be perfectly fine afterward. If you don’t want to lose a good woman to something so stupid, you need to sit down and do the one thing you fear the most: talk to your partner about sex.
You need to sit down and tell her:
- I am insecure in bed
- I don’t think I last long enough
- I have lost my confidence in the bedroom
And it may be something as easy as switching it up in the bedroom that will fix all of your problems. Roleplay, or even introduce cosplay or something a little kinkier in the bedroom. This will not only spice things up in between the sheets, but it will also help you forget about all of these insecurities for the night.
After some time, you’ll find that your confidence is rising.
Men with a smaller package can also try doing something about it. Try SizeGenetics and see if it works for you, or perform exercises to help your penis grow. But my penis length is fine – great. Go to the gym and boost your confidence by getting fit.
For some men, they may even wear new clothes or do anything that makes them feel more confident.
Your partner isn’t going to think less of you because you’re insecure. And if your partner is this petty, it’s time to move on.
How to Last Longer in Bed with These 2 Exercises

How do I last longer in bed? How do I become a porn star in the bedroom? Practice.
Yes, sure, sex is natural, and everyone can do it. But some people do it a lot better than others. You can last longer and have the stamina of a lion in the bedroom if you’re willing to put the work in. The reward for all your hard work? Better sex.
1. Kegel Exercises
Kegel exercises are the real deal. These exercises can be done for less than 10 minutes a day, and they’re what I recommend to any man who wants to be able to increase their time in the bedroom.
These are exercises that will strengthen the muscles you use to control your ejaculation.
It’s simple on paper, but it’s a little complicated to understand. An in-depth article on the subject has already been written on the topic – click here to read it.
But for a basic explanation, you need to:
- Get completely naked
- Place your finger between your testicles and anus
- Try to stop yourself from peeing (you know how you contract that one muscle when trying to do this)
And this is a basic kegel exercise. That muscle no one knows the name of is actually your Pubococcygeus muscle. Simply contract and relax this muscle routinely in an attempt to strengthen it.
Again, this is a basic explanation, and I encourage you to read the article linked above on the matter.
2. Edging Exercises
It’s funny – men complain how they can’t last long in bed, but they never try and actually work on masturbation, and controlling their erection and ejaculation. Why? No one knows. It only makes sense to try and control what’s stopping you from longer sex.
You can’t just turn on a porno on your computer and go to town.
This needs to be done properly, which means you need to try and make yourself last longer. Aim for 10 minutes of masturbation before you let loose.
Edging is learning how to bring yourself down from ejaculation so that you don’t explode in two minutes.
Try this:
- Masturbate until you feel yourself ready to cum (building up, not actually 10/10, I’m going to blow this second).
- Bring yourself down to that halfway mark of cumming (5 out of 10 scale).
And then you want to be able to go higher, or closer to ejaculation, before simmering down and gaining control. When you can get yourself to the brink of ejaculating and can control it back down, this is when you’ll finally be able to control the ejaculation process.
You want to do anything to settle it down:
- Squeeze
- Think of your grandma
- Change stroke positions
If you do all of this, you’ll be able to change pace and control your ejaculation.
3. Bonus: Natural Vasodilators
You’re making progress, but you seem to lose your erection quickly. This may be a blood flow problem, and natural vasodilators will work wonders in this case. If you have no idea what this means, don’t worry.
This is a big term for ways to increase your blood circulation.
And a few supplements and foods that will do the trick are:
- Garlic
- Onions
- Cayenne
- Ginger
- Rosemary
- Magnesium (foods or supplements)
- Niacin
- Ginkgo biloba
- Arginine
- Hawthorne
As you can see, many of these food items can be added in as a spice and add an abundance of flavor to your meal.
When it comes to lasting longer in the bedroom, take your time because this is a lengthy process. Don’t expect to be a minute-man today and an all-star tomorrow – it won’t happen. Keep building your confidence, doing your kegel routine and start eating foods that promote blood circulation.
